How to Upload Evidence Documents
Upload award files, reports, invoices, payroll reviews, and other backup documentation so evidence is available for requirements, spend events, and audit packages.
What you will accomplish
Documents connected to the right grant, requirement, or spend event.
Step-by-step guide
Step 1
Choose the right document location
Use Documents for grant-level and requirement-level files. Use spend-event detail screens when the file is backup for a specific imported transaction or reimbursement item.
Step 2
Upload the file with clear metadata
Select the grant, optional requirement, document type, and description. Use file names that an auditor or reviewer can understand without opening every file.
Step 3
Link files to requirements
When a file proves a requirement was completed or reviewed, attach it as evidence. Accepted evidence can then be included in audit package views.
Step 4
Attach backup to spend events
Open a specific spend event and attach invoices, receipts, payroll backup, or other support. This keeps reimbursement evidence tied to the exact transaction.
Step 5
Confirm download access
Open the document detail screen and test download or preview. The app stores the file privately and serves it through authenticated download routes.

Use this outline to record a short training video with the seeded demo workspace. Keep the video focused on one workflow and avoid showing sensitive customer data.
